Yes. We encourage our members to share with their circle of friends, family, co-workers, etc. about their healthy lifestyle.  For friends or family members who are local resident of Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra, St. Augustine, we offer one complimentary training class.  Please keep in mind that some workouts are better than others to bring a guest, so take a look inside your Triib mobile application the night before to determine if the next day's workout will be best.  You can also ask any of the coaches in advance if you know the specific day you intend to bring your guest.

Please have your guest pre-register for a Free Trial and arrive approximately 10mins before class so that we have time to take a look at the form(s), chat with your guest, and for our coaches to have enough information to make the workout experience safe and fun for your guest.

After the workout, your guest will be presented options for being part of PhysWell.  We will discuss membership options, and if applicable, provide information about the PhysWell Foundational Program that will on-ramp new members into the type of functional training we conduct here.
Yes!  We would love for you to bring your out-of-town visitor.  The first visit is on us.  If your out-of-town guest would like to visit with us again in the future or will be in-town for an extended period of time, they will need to purchase a drop-in for each subsequent visit.  Since they are your guest, they will receive a 25% off the drop-in fee.

The minimum age for training with PhysWell is 13 years of age.  We require youth (13 - 14 years of age) to go through PhysWell's Foundational Movement; group or individually.  After completion of the PhysWell Foundational Movement program, the youth will have learned the proper form, technique, and safe execution of ~40 different exercise movements.  For the physical safety of the youth, there are certain movement we restrict / prohibit based on age and on a case-by-case basis.

We encourage the parent(s) to be highly involved by either being on site during training session, also participating in the PhysWell Foundational Movement Program.  Either way, after the youth completes the PhysWell Movement Program, the coach will speak with the parent(s) to provide overall feedback and recommendations.  Some youth would benefit from more one-on-one training for a period of time.  Others may transition to group class setting seamlessly.
Yes.  As of February 2020 PhysWell hosts a dedicated class for youth; PhysWell Kids.  Our trainers have received formal education on properly training youth.  This is one of our differentiators in the functional fitness sector; our trainer's knowledge and credentials.

PhysWell classes will be separated by grade:
  • K - 3rd grade
  • 4th - 8th grade

PhysWell Fitness & Rehab is home to CrossFit NOC.  PhysWell Fitness & Rehab is a high-intensity, constantly varied, functional fitness training facility.  CrossFit is a brand of functional fitness.  We operate under the primary name of PhysWell Fitness & Rehab.  We design our own programming with careful consideration of duration, load, target focus, and application of several programming methodologies; all of which align with high-intensity, constantly varied, functional fitness.  We also place a high concentration on preventative warm-ups, muscle activation drills, and physical therapy focused exercise which correlate to the day's programming.

We affiliated with CrossFit for several benefit it affords our training facility, our members, and our community.

Youth. Several of you (members) have approached us about functional fitness training for youth.  Crossfit has a reputable Crossfit Kids program and we are trained by a highly reputable and scientific-based program; Brand X Method.

Affiliate Benefits. We have several members who travel frequently for work and leisure.  Some affiliate owners graciously choose to allow discounted drop-ins to other affiliate members.  This is something we too will be implementing at our training facility.

Elevation of Credentials. The curriculum in obtaining CF Level credential is reputable and comprehensive.  We believe in having qualified trainers leading members, and require each team member on staff to have a type of credential which can include, and is not limited to: CrossFit L1 or higher, CSCS, Higher education in Physical Therapy, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or clinical related education.

Future of Functional Fitness. Crossfit brought functional fitness to mainstream.  It is also what originally drew us to love this type of training and ultimately connected Lauren and I (Shute) together. Over the years, functional fitness has expanded and continues to do so.  In fact, there are two organizations we are watching closely; International Functional Fitness Federation and USA Functional Fitness.

FaithRXWhat is and will always be the number on priority for Lauren and I is our faith.  On our 12-month roadmap, we’ve set a goal to get involved with the local FaithRX chapter, which has indirect ties to Crossfit -- meet-ups take place at a Crossfit Affiliate.  Participation by PWFR / Crossfit NOC members will be optional and extension to what we already provide.
